Ève Gilroy of Green House Science recently was recognized by SETAC North America as the Outstanding Regional Chapter Member. From the SETAC NA press release:
Active in the Laurentian Chapter of SETAC for seven years, Gilroy is a tireless contributor who has served in nearly every capacity. Her invaluable participation has ranged from organizing a Sediment Toxicity Short Course, to organizing the sale of Laurentian SETAC shirts and hats, to coordinating the updates of the Laurentian SETAC website. She has served as membership coordinator, webmaster, treasurer, vice president, and president. She has also participated in and chaired every active chapter committee, often taking on daunting tasks, such as working on the updates of online payment and registration systems and maintaining membership lists. Her consistent service to members has been instrumental in developing and building the Laurentian Chapter. Congratulations, and thanks, Ève!
